                                                                                     Commercial Photography

Commercial photography is a type of still image photography and cinematography that is for either advertisement for a retailer that wants to promote their product or is fundamental photographing but in which the photographs and images are sold for profit. For retail purposes commercial photography is simply to positively promote an item for sale or an event. Most of the time commercial photography will be advertised on billboards, in magazines or popup ads.

An example for retail would be food being eaten and then have the product as it would be seen on a store shelf off to the side to create simplicity for the audience. This method is used to show the product in use, but also the product on the shelf to give a sense what to look for when at a store. Many advertisers research what is a more popular way to promote an item by using focus groups, threw this they can make the product more desirable to buy; this is why comical ads in both TV and photographic advertisement has become more popular.

In any way if it is an attractive woman eating a hamburger to promote a sandwich at Carl’s Jr, or a hipster drinking a coffee at Mc Donald’s, advertisement with always suggest ideas to us even if we try to avoid them as much as possible. By Magazine, by billboard, commercial photographs will continually used in any form or way to influences is to buy more and more retail still image or TV ad.
